Australian police say Taylor Swift's dad has 'left the country', assault inquiries 'continue'

Australian police on Tuesday said Taylor Swift's dad had left the country, but an investigation would "continue" into allegations he punched a Sydney photographer in a late-night altercation.
A police spokesperson said the 71-year-old -- earlier named as Scott Swift -- accused of striking a paparazzo, "has left the country" but "inquiries continue."
