A non-governmental organization (NGO) in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore has organized a clothing drive to donate clothes for actor Ranveer Singh, whose nude photoshoot for a magazine recently went viral on social media.

A video shared on Twitter on Tuesday shows locals donating clothing into a box that has a nude photograph of the actor, reports NDTV.

People were seen gathering at a location where the NGO “Neki Ki Deewar” held the donation drive.

The video has amassed thousands of views since being shared on social media.

After the release of the nude photographs of Ranveer Singh, some people loved it. But the actor has been subjected to brutal online abuse as some were outraged.

Even an FIR was filed against Singh in Mumbai on Tuesday over the photos.

The NGO that filed the FIR alleged that the actor had hurt the sentiments of women with his nude photos.

Akhilesh Chaubey, the complainant’s lawyer, said these nude photos of Ranveer Singh would send a wrong message to children.
