COP28's UAE presidency says 'we respect' climate science

The Emirati president of the UN's COP28 talks said Monday he respects climate science, after a leaked video showed him declaring that no science says a fossil fuel phaseout will help achieve climate goals.
"We're here because we very much believe and respect the science," COP28 president Sultan Al Jaber said at a news conference.
