Japanese envoy optimistic about expansion of people-to-people exchanges

Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Iwama Kiminori has expressed his hope for the expansion of people-to-people exchanges between the two cities (Naruto City and Narayanganji City) like the cherry blossom to be planted tomorrow.

The envoy of Japan said this at a dinner reception hosted by him along with his wife on Monday evening to welcome representatives from Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan and Narayanganji City. 

The two cities signed a friendship city agreement on March 28 this year, which is the first friendship city agreement between Japan and Bangladesh.
