Deepika Padukone rushed to hospital in shooting of "Project K"

Recently, a few reports have emerged which suggest that Deepika Padukone was rushed to the hospital in between the shooting of Amitabh Bachchan starrer "Project K". The producers of the movie have now openly discussed the issue.

The reports have suggested that Deepika was complaining about a feeling of uneasiness on the set of "Project K", which was being shot in Hyderabad. The actress was then rushed to a hospital in the city, where a few diagnostic tests were conducted.

Aswini Dutt, a producer of "Project K", explained that it was farfetched to say the visit to the hospital was a "health scare" and that Deepika was doing fine afterwards. The issue seems to have been that Deepika had caught COVID a few weeks before the Cannes Film Festival, Upon recovering from the virus, the actress flew to the festival and then immediately returned to Hyderabad for the shooting of "Project K". As a result, the actress' blood pressure fluctuated slightly, leading to the hospital visit.  The Daily Star
