SC operation resumes

Regular judicial proceedings in the Supreme Court (SC) resumed today after court vacation and Eid holiday.

The judicial proceedings of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court started at 9.30 am under the leadership of Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique.

Earlier, the chief justice constituted 50 benches of the High Court to conduct judicial work in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court, said an official notice published on the Supreme Court website.

Among these benches, 30 are division benches while the rest are single benches.

During the 19 day long vacation, several vacation benches in the Chamber Court and High Court Division have heard and disposed of urgent matters.
