5 people killed on the Barisal-Patuakhali highway

Five people were killed and two injured after a minibus collided with a CNG-run autorickshaw on the Barisal-Patuakhali highway.
The incident was reported from Bakerganj Upazila’s helipad area in Barisal on Wednesday around 12pm.
Bakerganj Police OC Alauddin Milon confirmed the matter.
The victims, all passengers of the autorickshaw, are yet to be identified, he said.
The injured have been taken to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital for treatment.
