On Friday, through a program at a restaurant in Gulshan, actress, musician, and news anchor Zinat Sanu Swagata released her most recent music video. Swagata and Hasan Azad performed "Say Something" as a duet in the rock genre. They have worked together twice before.

The Daily Star spoke with Swagata to learn more about her work in acting, music, and other areas.

I wrote my portion of the song's lyrics, and Hasan wrote his, according to Swagata. The song is actually about all of us who make mistakes

and repent, despite the fact that it may sound as though it is implying to a corrupt individual.

The singers wrote the song's lyrics together, and they also wrote the music, which was created by Khayam Sanu Sandhi. Aninda Kabir Avik is the director of the music video.

I don't anticipate this song becoming popular because it is dark and the subject matter is serious; as a result, it might not be as well received as projects with a lighter tone.

Swagata also expressed her displeasure with the state of the music business. "It's difficult to call it an industry; we lack nearly everything required to be referred to as a legitimate industry."

In the midst of all the bad news, Swagata sees a glimmer of hope in the knowledge that artists will be in charge of their own royalties once they take control of the release and marketing of their own music.

On Swagata and Hasan's official Facebook and YouTube channels, the song is accessible.

The performer has been a part of the cast of the Boishakhi television series "Bou-Shashuri" as an actor for a considerable amount of time.

Upon being asked on the future of her acting career, Swagata is still looking for roles that makes her feel challenged. "My role in 'Lal Moroger Jhuti' was one of the most satisfying characters that I did, however, my screen time was too short." The actor also informed that she is busy shooting for Eid-ul-Azha projects. "I will be working on both series and single fictions for the upcoming Eid, and I am also waiting for a few of my big screen projects to be released." The films are—"Manusher Bagan", "Oshombhob" and "Dewaler Desh". She will also host the special show, "Chhaya Chhondo", this Eid-ul-Azha.
