The Indian cricket team's new kit sponsor is Adidas.

The Indian cricket board (BCCI) announced on Monday that German sportswear giant Adidas would become the new kit sponsor of the Indian national team.

 

Despite earlier this year's reports in the local media that a deal had been reached, BCCI secretary Jay Shah confirmed the action on Twitter without providing any information regarding the contract's financial terms.

Shah tweeted, "I'm happy to announce @BCCI's partnership with @adidas as a kit sponsor."

"We are dedicated to developing the game of cricket and are thrilled to collaborate with one of the top sportswear companies in the world. Welcome to the team, @adidas.

The Mobile Premier League's sportswear brand MPL Sports replaced American sportswear manufacturer Nike in a three-year agreement the BCCI signed in 2020.
