On June 14, the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium will host the lone Test between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. This was confirmed by the schedule released by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday, according to BSS.

On June 10, it was announced, the Afghanistan national cricket team would arrive in Dhaka.

After the Test game, there will be a break for Eid-ul-Azha. During the break, the visitors will fly to India to play a one-day international (ODI) series.

On July 1, the Afghan national cricket team will travel back to Bangladesh for three ODIs and two T20 Internationals.

On June 5, 8, and 11, Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium will host all three One Day Internationals. The two T20Is will take place on June 14 and 16, respectively. The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will host the T20Is.

In this tour, Afghanistan was slated to participate in two tests, three ODIs, and three T20 Internationals. However, one Test and one T20I match were canceled at the request of the Afghan cricket board, while the number of ODIs remained the same.

Last year, Afghanistan paid their final visit to Bangladesh to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs), which were a part of the ICC ODI Super League. That series was won by Bangladesh 2-1. Additionally, a two-match T20 International series between the two teams ended in a tie.
