With two games remaining in the Premier League season, Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp has challenged his team to maintain pressure on their opponents.

Liverpool's 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Monday guaranteed them a spot in next season's Europa League. They currently sit fifth in the Premier League, one point behind fourth-place Manchester United and third-place Newcastle United, with a game in hand for each.
Klopp, whose team has won seven in a row, expressed skepticism about making it into Europe next season six weeks ago.

"I didn't believe it can happen," Klopp told the press. The only way for us to get into these situations back then was to win nearly every football game, and that was obviously something we lacked.

"We know we have to win every game from now until the end of the season to have a chance," the team said. "But the rest is not in our hands."... You wish, anyway, that the opponent was just losing and you had that kind of pressure off your shoulder. It is up to us to maintain the pressure.

On Saturday, Liverpool will play host to Aston Villa before heading to Southampton for the final game of the season.
