Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh has been ruled out of Sunday's third and final One-Day International against Ireland due to a finger injury.

"Shakib injured the tip of his right index finger while attempting a catch yesterday (Friday) in the second ODI," said National Team physio Bayjedul Islam Khan.

"Saturday's X-ray revealed a fracture at the base of the index finger." Such injuries typically heal in six weeks. Unfortunately, this means he will be unable to play in the final match against Ireland."

Bangladesh batsman Najmul Hossain Shanto hit his maiden ODI century as Bangladesh won in dramatic fashion on Friday, taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after the first game was called off due to rain.
