According to Ancelotti, Madrid will keep Benzema, Modric, and Kroos.

According to Carlo Ancelotti, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Karim Benzema will all remain at Real Madrid for the upcoming campaign.

The contracts for the trio expire at the conclusion of the current campaign, and Ancelotti confirmed that Modric and Kroos are currently in talks with the organization about their futures.

 

In addition to other awards, the pair won five Champions Leagues with Real Madrid after coming from Lyon in 2009 and Tottenham in 2012.

In 2014, Toni Kroos moved to Madrid from Bayern Munich, and he has four Champions League titles with Los Blancos.

Ancelotti responded that he thought a "solution" would be found when questioned about Kroos and Modric.

Because they are speaking, there are advancements, according to Ancelotti.

"I think they will eventually look for a solution, there have been advancements,"

The coach also believed that Karim Benzema, who notched a hat-trick in Wednesday's decisive 4-0 Copa del Rey semifinal victory over Barcelona, would remain.

But the Italian cautioned that Madrid would eventually have to move on.

"I believe (the three) will remain," Ancelotti said. However, we also need to consider what will happen when they stop because something will need to change because they are unique.

"We need to rethink how we play without Kroos and Modric in order to look at the club's future in a different way.

In contrast to Kroos, Modric, and Casemiro, Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, Fede Valverde, and Daniel Ceballos are all fantastic young players who will usher in a new era at Real Madrid.

Even though Benzema, Modric, and Kroos are physically past their prime, Ancelotti still thinks they have a lot to offer Madrid.

The coach continued, "We have to judge the players not by their age, but by what they do."

"You might think that the three lack the youthful players' physical attributes or vitality, but what these three possess in terms of game management is special and cannot be purchased anywhere in the world.

This is the result of being born with experience; growing older both takes and gives.

Prior to hosting Chelsea on Wednesday for the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal, Madrid plays Villarreal in La Liga on Saturday.
