Jimin, a member of BTS, became the first South Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 yesterday, making music history.

This week, Miley Cyrus's "Flowers," which had held the top spot for eight weeks, was dethroned by "Like Crazy," which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100.

His album "FACE" debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's main albums list, making it the highest-charting album by a South Korean solo performer and surpassing fellow BTS member RM's "Indigo", which peaked at No. 3 in December, according to Billboard.

Jimin's "FACE" is currently available for streaming globally and includes five songs: "Set Me Free Pt. 2,", "Like Crazy", "Face-off", "Interlude: Dive", and "Alone".

BTS is regarded as South Korea's largest cultural phenomenon ever, selling out stadiums around the world, topping the charts, generating billions of dollars for the country's economy, and developing a global legion of fans known as ARMYs.
