A "big possibility" for the Brazil job is Ancelotti: Ederson

Goalkeeper Ederson claimed that the squad was anxious due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of Brazil's coaching staff and that he and his teammates had discussed the "big possibility" of Carlo Ancelotti taking the helm.

After Brazil lost in the World Cup quarterfinals in Qatar, Tite resigned from his position. In a statement released in February, the Brazilian federation refuted claims that they had verbally agreed with Ancelotti, who is under contract with Real Madrid through 2024.

Before Brazil's match against Morocco on March 25, Ederson told reporters, "There is a good chance he comes.

The goalkeeper for Manchester City claimed to have spoken with several Brazilian players who had previously played for Real Madrid under Ancelotti, including Casemiro, Vinicius Jr., and Eder Militao.

"Everyone in the group likes him, he's a guy with a very successful career, just look at his CV, is what I've heard about him, and he's an exceptional coach. We'll find out soon whether he'll be here or not.
