In Ukhiya camp, two Rohingyas were shot and killed

On Tuesday afternoon, miscreants opened fire on the Rohingya population at the Ukhiya Balukhali camp-13 in Cox's Bazar, leaving two of them dead and one injured.

About 1:00 pm, there was another individual hurt in the shooting. The killing was confirmed by Sheikh Mohammad Ali, the officer-in-charge (OC) of the Ukhiya police station.

The injured person in the incident is not out of danger either. He is undergoing treatment at Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital, said the OC.

Legal action in this regard is under process. Police and APBN are working to keep the situation normal in the camp, the police official added.
