After turning down an offer in 2018, Rihanna didn't hesitate to perform this year's Super Bowl halftime show. The nine-time Grammy Award winner anticipated to perform live in front of millions of global audiences on Sunday at State Farm Stadium.
She took this performance as a challenge and informed that her son inspired her to take on this year's Super Bowl halftime show. Rihanna has been away from making music since 2016, and after giving birth to her first child in May, this will be the first time she will be performing on stage.
The international superstar also informed that the show is important to her since she wants her son to see her on stage and her representation of her Caribbean culture. In her words, she will be representing immigrants, her country, Barbados and Black women everywhere.
