Nicole Kidman to star in CIA series ‘Lioness’

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman is set to appear in the new series titled, "Lioness". The actress is also involved as an executive producer on the series.

The story of "Lioness" revolves around Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira), a young and enthusiastic Marine, who is persuaded to join the CIA's Lioness Engagement Team to assist with bringing down a terrorist organisation from the inside.

In the series, Zoe Saldaa will portray Joe—the station chief of the Lioness programme—who is responsible for training, supervising, and guiding her female covert operatives. Kidman will portray Kaitlyn Meade, a senior supervisor at the CIA, with a lengthy history of playing political games.

The series has also cast Jill Wagner, Dave Annable, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Hannah Love Lanier, Stephanie Nur, and Jonah Wharton, among others.
