Bookings and sales at REHAB fair total Tk 3.51 billion

Sales and reservations totaling Tk 3.51 billion were made during the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh's (REHAB) year-end fair, the majority of which were for residential apartments.

Organisers detailed the fair achievements at a concluding press conference at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Sunday.

REHAB vice-presidents Kamal Mahmud, Sharif Ali Khan, Shohel Rana and directors Sultan Mahmud, Kamrul Islam (Islam), Emdad Hossain, Kamal Uddin were present on the occasion.

The participant realtors received orders for flats of Tk 1.68 billion; plots worth Tk 800 million and commercial spaces of Tk 537.3 million, according to a press release.

Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Md Tajul Islam inaugurated the five-day “REHAB Fair 2022” on Wednesday as the chief guest.

Some 16,132 buyers and visitors came to the fair while participating commercial banks pledged to finance Tk 10 billion in real estate investment.

REHAB officials termed the fair as part of branding the industry bringing the  real estate buyers and sellers under one roof.

The companies that participated in the fair presented the quality of their products to the buyers who visited the event.

They described different features of the products to the buyers who reviewed them and made final decisions.
