The Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has chosen Saddam Hussein as its new president and Sheikh Wali Asif Inan as its new general secretary.
Awami League General Secretary and Road, Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader announced the committee coming out of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s office residence Ganabhaban Tuesday night.
The development has come after 13 days of council of Bangladesh Chhatra League.
Mazharul Kabir Shayon has become president of Dhaka University unit BCL and Tanvir Hasan Saikat general secretary.
Dhaka city (north) BCL has got Riaz Mahmud as its president while Sagar Ahmed general secretary.
Meanwhile, Rajibul Islam has been elected president of Dhaka city (south) BCL and Sazal Kundu general secretary.
