Newly appointed cabinet secretary Kabir Anwar

The cabinet secretary has been chosen as Kabir Bin Anwar, senior secretary of the water resources ministry.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

On February 15, 1988, Kabir began working for the government as an assistant commissioner.

In addition, he held positions as director general (admin) at the Prime Minister's Office and first secretary at the Bangladesh embassy in the Hague, Netherlands. He also held positions as deputy secretary at the home ministry and assistant secretary at the foreign affairs ministry.
