Bangladesh-India ODI series will start today

On Sunday, the first match of a three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and visiting India will be played at Dhaka's Shere Bangla National Stadium.

The match will kick off at 12:00 pm local time.

After Tamim's being ruled out of the series due to a groin injury, Litton Das has been made captain for the responsibility of the team. Taskin Ahmed is not also available for the first ODI due to a back issue.Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud and Ebadot Hossain will have to handle the bulk of the responsibilities in the pace department.

On the other hand, Mohammed Shami was ruled out of the series due to a shoulder injury. Umran Malik has been roped into the squad but he may not get a game straight away. India is likely to go on Siraj, Thakur and Chahar in their pace department.Axar Patel was hit near his chest while batting in the nets on Saturday and was being monitored by the medical team. But he is likely to be available for selection.
