David Beckham is planning to entice former Manchester United team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo to Inter Miami, according to The Sun.
Owner of the MLS club, Beckham has reportedly made contact with Ronaldo's representatives, following a bombshell interview that the 37-year-old forward gave to Piers Morgan on TalkTV.
He accused Manchester United and members of its hierarchy of "disrespecting" him, while also taking aim at players he had previously shared a dressing room with, including Wayne Rooney.
Ronaldo, whose World Cup begins with Portugal against Ghana on November 24, is said to be of interest to other US-based clubs including LA Galaxy.
Inter Miami is currently managed by Phil Neville, brother of Gary Neville, another former team-mate Ronaldo mentions in his explosive chat - which is due to air in full on Wednesday and Thursday evening.
