In N'ganj, three Jama'atul Ansar members were detained: Rab

In Narayanganj's Signboard neighborhood, the Rapid Action Battalion detained three Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya members, including two of its financiers, yesterday (November 8, 2022).

Rab also returned a woman to her family after she had been "de-radicalized" after she had been encouraged to join the military.

Abdul Hani (40), Abu Sayeed Sher Mohammad (32), the organization's financiers, and Rony Mia (29), a participant in da'wah activities, are among those detained. At a news conference held at the Rab media center today, Khandaker Al Moin, director of Rab's legal and media section, said (November 9, 2022).

They also had three extremist literature, nine pamphlets, and two bags, he added, noting that the arrestees would face legal repercussions.
