Today marks the 13th death anniversary of the "King of Pop", Michael Jackson. He wasn't just a musician, he was a legend on his own. His iconic 'moon walk' and his scintillating dance moves in classics like "Thriller", "Beat it", and "Billie Jean" made him the ultimate pop sensation all over the world. 

In June 2009, Micheal Jackson died at his residence due to cardiac arrest. He may have left us physically but his songs remain forever immortalised in our hearts.

Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough

"Off the Wall" (1979) remains one of Michael Jackson's most iconic disco songs of all time. It was his first solo album which immediately became a hit among the masses. Jackson felt that he couldn't shake off the melody of "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" for many days as he kept humming it. The song became number 1 on the US chart and became number 3 on UK top chart list. 

2. Black or White 

"Black and White" talks about racial equality which sees no colour and race. The song talks about breaking the stereotypes and was fueled by powerful tunes of guitar and pitch-perfect vocals. 

3. Smooth Criminal 

This song had one of the most scintillating bass lines of all time. It was released as the seventh track of the "Bad" album. His swanky moves and clear hit tempos made it a classic hit. The song broke Billboard Hot 100 in 1987. 

4. Thriller 

"Thriller" became a cultural phenomenon with its zombie dance routine and its catchy vocal. It was released as the seventh single and any party would be incomplete without this dance track. 

5. Beat it:

This track literally resonates with the young generation. The guitar riffs and its passionate lyrics made it one of the greatest songs of all time. 

6. Billie Jean

Micheal Jackson performed his iconic 'moon walk' during one of the stage concerts of "Billie Jean". The beat of the drum and the sensuous and addictive vocal made it one of the ultimate classics of all time. 

7. They Don't Care About Us

It is the fifth track from the album "History: Past, Present and Future- Book 1."  The song fights against prejudice and racial abuse. The song became a slogan of protest and unity against all sorts of adversities in life. 

8. P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)

Pretty Young Thing is the sixth track from his super hit album "Thriller". The song has an upbeat tempo and crazy moves which made an ultimate song for the viewers. 

9. BAD 

The song "Bad" is a bold track that actually resonates with the true temper of the song. The compelling lyrics paired with the mind-blowing tune made it a must-listen track of all time. 

10. Rock With You

"Rock with you" from the album "Off the Wall" is a slick one that will stay with you for a long time. The soulful song coupled with a hint of Pop feels made it a wonderful song to take in.
