Lutfey Siddiqui appointed as Chief Adviser’s spl envoy on international affairs

The interim government has appointed Lutfey Siddiqui as Chief Adviser’s envoy on international affairs.
The Cabinet Division has issued a gazette notification on Wednesday in this regard. He will enjoy the facilities equivalent to an adviser’s status.
Lutfey Siddiqi is an Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore and a Visiting Professor-in-Practice at the London School of Economics.
With a background as the Global Head of Emerging Markets for Foreign Exchange, Rates & Credit at UBS Investment Bank and a Managing Director at Barclays Bank, he was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2012.
Lutfey serves on several advisory and governing boards and has a significant international media presence. He has been a commercially important person by the Government of Bangladesh since 2009.
