President Mohammed Shahabuddin asked the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) office to ensure transparent and accountable use of public funds.

The President came up with the directive as a three-member delegation led by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Bangladesh, Md Nurul Islam, handed over an audit and accounts report to him at Bangabhaban here this afternoon.

During the meeting, the CAG provided an overview of their recent work, including 45 compliance audit reports, two utility account reports, and two financial account reports.
