Bafta TV Awards: ‘Top Boy’ takes home the trophy

Bafta TV awards revealed its 2024 winners in London.
TV stars like Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett, along with comedian Joe lycett donned as Queen Elizabeth who also lost the bet, amassed at the Royal Festival Hall to unfold the winners of this year's Bafta TV Awards.
However, instead of broadcasting the whole event on TV, they only exhibited a glimpse of the event on BBC One a day later, after the Eurovision Song Contest.
"Happy Valley" and "Top Boy" stood out as the leading victors at the ceremony. "Top Boy" won the prize in Best Drama category and Best Supporting Actress, while Sarah Lancshire from "Happy valley" secured the award as leading actress.
"The Sixth Commandment's" Timothy Spall took home the Leading Actor award and Matthew Macfadyen who wasn't present at the award ceremony received the Best Supporting Actor for "Succession". Others who also racked up the special awards were Lorraine Kelly and Baroness Floella Benjamin.
