Alia Bhatt wears a Sabyasachi sari to the Met Gala

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is attending her second Met Gala — in a row — but this is her first time wearing a sari on the carpet. 

The Bollywood superstar wore Prabal Gurung last year, but donned a Sabyasachi design this year. She told the Vogue hosts the on-theme garment took 1,905 man hours and 163 workers to craft.

With her bold fashion statement at the 2024 Met Gala, she captivated audiences.

Alia will be seen in her next project, Vasan Bala’s much-awaited film, "Jigra," where she co-stars with Vedang Raina. The film is scheduled for release on September 27 this year.
