Chanchal Chy stars in Vicky Zahed’s ‘Rumi’

Noted actor Chanchal Chowdhury has collaborated with director Vicky Zahed for the first time on an OTT project. The web series titled “Rumi” is scheduled to be released on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival.

Chanchal Chowdhury has recently shared a picture on his Facebook account with the director. “Do not understand the matter?” he captioned it.

It is learned that Chanchal Chowdhury will portray a detective in the suspenseful thriller series. The details of the project are yet to be disclosed.

The series also stars Abdun Noor Shajal, Rikita Nandini Shimu, Deepa Khandakar and others.

Earlier, Chanchal acted in the much-acclaimed web series “Taqdeer” and “Karagar”. The actor will be seen in Srijit Mukherji’s “Padatik, the biopic on legendary Indian filmmaker Mrinal Sen. He also has the film “Dom” directed by Redoan Rony, in the pipeline.

On the other hand, Vicky Zahed is known for his popular works like “Punorjonmo”, “Redrum” and “Ararat”.
