Women soccer team captain Sabina’s father dies

Syed Ali Gazi, father of Bangladesh national women's football team captain Sabina Khatun, has died. He breathed his last at his home in Satkhira around 7:30 pm on Monday night.

He was suffering from various liver and aging problems. He was 66 years old. He is survived by his wife and five daughters. He was buried on Tuesday morning.

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has expressed its deepest condolences to the beavered family.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russell has expressed his condolences. In his condolence message, the state minister prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.
