Notre Dame College student dies hit by vehicle

A student of Notre Dame College died this morning after being hit by a vehicle of Dhaka South City Corporation in Dhaka's Gulistan area.

The deceased was primarily identified as Nayeem Hasan, a student of Notre Dame College, said Salahuddin Mia, officer-in-charge of Paltan Police Station.

The DSCC vehicle hit the student as he was crossing the road around 11:30pm. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 12:15pm, the OC said.

Police seized the vehicle and detained the driver after the incident.The daily star
