No annual examination for secondary level this yr: Minister

In the coronavirus situation, this time the annual examination at the secondary school level will not be held, said Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni.
The minister made this information at a virtual press conference on Wednesday.
She said, this time a syllabus has been prepared which can be completed in 30 working days. It's for everyone. By doing this, students will be able to achieve minimum learning outcomes. According to the syllabus, the teachers will give one assignment to the students every week. Assessment of assignments will identify students' weaknesses.
She added that this assessment is only for our understanding, where they have weaknesses.
All educational institutions in the country have been closed since March 17 due to coronavirus. According to the latest announcement, the educational institutions will remain closed till October 31.
In some cases, classes are being taken online and on television. In this situation, this year's Primary Education Completion, Ibtedayi Completion, Junior School Certificate (JSC), Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) and Higher Secondary (HSC) examinations have been postponed.
