Oxford’s 30m vaccine will arrive by Feb: Health Secy

Health Secretary Md. Abdul Mannan said that between January and February, 30 million vaccines for coronavirus discovered in Oxford will arrive in the country. The government has made all kinds of preparations including allocating several hundreds of crore of takas for this.

The health official made this information after an exchange of views with government officials and people's representatives at Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila Parishad Milanayatan on Saturday noon.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Sarwar Murshed Chowdhury, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mujibur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman, Mayor Mahmud Parvez, Upazila Parishad Chairman Mamun Al Masud Khan, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Md. Abdul Qadir Bhuiyan and others were also present at that time.

Earlier, on the last day of the Vitamin A Plus campaign, Health Secretary Mohammad Abdul Mannan fed vitamin A capsules to the children in the Upazila Parishad meeting room.
