Covid claims 18 more dies and 399 cases in last 24hrs

Bangladesh confirmed 18 more death, and another 399 people diagnosed with coronavirus in the last 24 hours across the country.
With this, the death toll increased to 8,374 and a total of 544,116 people have been identified as infected with coronavirus in this epidemic in the country.
This information was given in the press release signed by the Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Prof Nasima Sultana on Tuesday (Feb 23).
Meanwhile, 828 patients were declared free of Covid-19 during the same period, raising the total number of recoveries to 492,887.
Bangladesh on March 8 reported the first COVID-19 positive cases while the first death was logged ten days later on March 18.
