DU upholds govt`s decision to reopen residential halls

The Dhaka University (DU) administration has upheld the decision of the Ministry of Education to reopen the residential hall.
The government has also been asked to give the first dose of coronavirus vaccine to the students by April 17, one month before the hall opens.
The decision has been taken at an emergency meeting of the Dhaka University Academic Council on Tuesday (February 23rd) at noon.
Several members present at the meeting confirmed this information.
The members said that the decision to open the hall Dhaka University would not go beyond the decision of the Ministry of Education.
The residential hall will be opened on May 17.
However, one month before the opening of the hall, the students have to confirm the first dose of corona vaccine to the government. The examinations of different departments taken under his own management will continue.
However, they said that no new examination can be taken before the opening of the university.
