Abrar murder case: 2 incl doctor testified

Two people, including a doctor, have testified in the murder case of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad. They are, Dhaka Medical College Hospital Forensic Medicine Department Head and Associate Professor Dr. Sohail Mahmud and Chawkbazar Model Police Constable Md. Dastagir Hossain.
They were testified in the court of Dhaka speedy trial tribunal -1 judge Abu Zafar Md. Kamruzzaman on Monday in the presence of 22 accused detained in jail. Out of a total of 60 witnesses in the case, 32 are testified so far.
After the testimony of the two witnesses was over, the lawyers of the accused cross-examined them. After the cross-examination, the court fixed November 25 and 26 for the next testimony.
On October 5, the plaintiff and slain Abrar's father Barkatullah was testified in the court. Through this, the testimony of this case has started. The court framed charges in the case on September 15. On November 13, DB inspector Wahiduzzaman, the investigating officer in the case, filed the chargesheet in the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court accusing 25 people.
