We don’t want to risk children’s lives by opening schools: PM in JS

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the government does not want to risk the lives of our children by opening schools in the country in the current situation of coronavirus.
The Prime Minister made the remarks during the tenth (special session on the occasion of Mujib Barsha) session of the Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad on Thursday night.
Earlier, the tenth session of the Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad resumed chaired by Speaker Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury at 6:03 pm.
Stating that the second wave of the corona has started coming to the country, the Prime Minister said “We have enough preparation to deal with Corona. Advance booking of the vaccine has been given. It is very risky to open an educational institution at the moment.”
The Prime Minister said the government is more prepared to deal with the second wave of corona and urged the people to be vigilant and wear masks.
