Man died after a CNG-run Auto-rickshaw hit his bicycle in Bhatara

A man died after a CNG-run Auto-rickshaw hit his bicycle in Dhaka's Bhatara area this morning.

The identity of the deceased, aged around 25, could not be known immediately.

The accident took place at Natun Bazar area when the auto-rickshaw hit the bicycle around 8:00am, leaving the man critically injured.

The driver Abul Kalam then took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctor declared him dead around 11:00am, said inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH Police Outpost.

Police took the driver in custody, he said. The Daily Star
