What to do, if confidential content spread on social media?

Almost all of the internet users have an account on the social media Facebook. Many times this Facebook has become a black in the lives of many. Some people here become victim of harassment socially. In the face of such problems, Bangladesh Police has advised the victims on what to do.

If any confidential or personal content is left on social media, especially on Facebook, it has to be reported to the Facebook authorities.

What to do in this case:

 

> The post through which your confidential or personal content has been shared on Facebook; Go to the report option on the right side of the post and click on Find Support or Report Post.

> Select the appropriate topic from the various issues in the options such as: Fake News, Nudity, Violence, Harassment, etc.

> The victim himself or his Facebook friends can report against the false or defamatory post by selecting the appropriate option from Me / My Friend.

> Save the screenshot with the full link of the relevant post which will help you to take any legal action later.

> In case of harassment or embarrassment by spreading confidential or personal content on social media, inform the nearest police station without delay.

> You can come directly to CID's Cyber ​​Police Center and lodge a complaint.
