Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan received bomb threats from a man on January 6.
The man called the Mumbai police and threatened to blow up popular Mumbai locations, including Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow, Mannat.
The caller, who identified himself as `Jitesh Thakur', claimed that he was from the army and there will be an attack in Mumbai with a nuclear bomb.
Bomb detection and disposal squads and sniffer dog units combed the stated spots, but nothing suspicious was found, as per reports.
The Mumbai police traced the number, finding out that it was from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Maharashtra police contacted and shared the information with Jabalpur police. As a result, Jitesh Thakur, a resident of Jabalpur's Ganganagar area, was apprehended at his home.
It was found out that Thakur is a repeat offender, and has made such calls in the past as well to the CM Helpline and Dial 100. The police also stated that the accused had no motives and that he would get drunk and make these phone calls. The Daily Star
