BPL Players’ Draft: Mushfiqur Joins Fortune Barishal with Tamim, Mahmudullah

In the upcoming edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), Mushfiqur Rahim is set to don the colors of Fortune Barishal alongside Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad.

 

Barishal has successfully acquired Mushfiqur's services in this year's players' draft, which took place at a Dhaka hotel today.

In addition to these three national stalwarts, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Khaled Ahmed, and Soumya Sarkar will also be part of the Barishal lineup in the BPL, scheduled to take place in January–February 2024.

Joining them are some prominent international acquisitions for Barishal, including Shoaib Malik, Fakhar Zaman, and Mohammad Amir from Pakistan, along with Dinesh Chandimal from Sri Lanka.

The other teams participating in this year's BPL include Chattogram Challengers, Comilla Victorians, Durdanto Dhaka, Khulna Tigers, and Sylhet Strikers. All teams will finalize their squads through the draft.
