The Bangabandhu Innovation Grant 2023 is now in its third iteration.

The Bangabandhu Innovation Grant (BIG) 2023 recently had its opening ceremony at the BCC Auditorium in Agargaon, Dhaka.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak, who is the ICT State Minister, was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony. He was joined by other important people.

The BIG authority plans to choose 300 innovative startups for the first stage this year.

Later, a 3-day boot camp for the chosen startups will be set up. The selected startups will have a full day of workshops, mentoring, and pitching at this boot camp.

Then, from the boot camp, the top 51 startups will be chosen, and the final round will be set up with the top 5 startups.

The best startup will get a grant of BDT 1 Crore, and each of the other 50 best startups will get a grant of BDT 10 Lakh.

Since 2019, the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) Project of the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), which is part of the ICT Division, has been running the BIG project.

From March 28 to April 22, 2023, entrepreneurs who want to sign up can go to www.big.gov.bd.
