PM Hasina inaugurates the Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator at CUET

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (Cuet).

She joined the opening ceremony via videoconferencing from Ganabhaban on Wednesday morning.

It is Bangladesh’s first university campus-based business incubator, built with the aim of developing entrepreneurship and expanding knowledge-based economy.

Around 220 entrepreneurs, trainees, freelancers and potential startups can get infrastructural, logistic, technical, financial and mentorship support from the incubator to transform innovative ideas into products and services in order to build a “Smart Bangladesh” by 2041.
