Ireland and Bangladesh will engage in a bilateral series for the first time, featuring games in all three formats.

Recent T20 cricket giant-killers include Ireland. They eliminated two-time champions West Indies from the T20 World Cup last year and defeated eventual champions England in a group game.

However, Bangladesh will be a difficult opponent after this week's comprehensive T20 series victory over England.

Ireland's preparations for the 50-over World Cup, even though they still need to qualify, will be heavily reliant on the matches played on Bangladesh's low-bounce wickets, which are comparable to those of India.

From March 18 to March 23, Ireland will play Bangladesh in a three-match One-Day International series, with all games taking place at Sylhet's International Cricket Stadium. After that, the teams will travel to Chattogram to play three T20Is on March 27th, 29th, and 31st, respectively.

The lone Test will take place from April 4 to April 8 at Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The first two one-day internationals against Ireland will start at 2 PM. The third ODI, which will start at 2:30 PM, may fall during Ramadan.

The Ireland T20Is will be played at 2 PM, while the T20Is against England will begin at 3 PM.
