Babu, Shyamal, Shahriar placed on 7-day remand

Journalists Mozammel Babu, Shyamal Dutta and former president of Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee Shahriar Kabir have been placed on a seven-day remand in two separate murder cases.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sanaullah granted the remand on Tuesday.
Earlier, they were produced before the court and the investigation officer sought a 10-day remand for them.
